AutoCAD Architecture 2013 - Overview

AutoCAD Architecture is the version of AutoCAD software for architects. The creation and documentation process is made to be more efficient in this version of the software, drawing upon the software’s purpose built tools constructed from an architect’s point of view.

Architects will find when using AutoCAD Architecture that they have alike methods to how they work themselves, and in cohesion with an intuitive user environment, it increases work output to a very high degree – but it also gives the user flexibility to progress at their own work speed. The format that the software uses is DWG, which is an industry leading format, designed to make it easy to share and communicate designs and ideas with workers and extended team who might be using different software.

  • Designed specifically for architects - Work in the familiar AutoCAD environment, using tools that are purpose-built for architectural design and drafting.
  • Get immediate productivity - Begin using AutoCAD Architecture software with minimal training, creating documentation, drawings and schedules faster, with fewer errors and in a software environment you already know. Make a smooth transition to more advanced features at your own pace.
  • Collaborate smoothly - Exchange information easily using the industry-leading DWG file format and use integrated rendering tools to create lifelike design visualisations that enhance communication with clients.
