Training Options - Selecting the Right Type of Training
One of the keys to gaining maximum value for money and operational benefits from your training investment is to select the right type of training programme. So how do you decide what is most appropriate for your business, your staff, and your budget?MicroCAD provides a highly personalised service, recognising that your organisation has specific objectives, and that your staff have individual needs. Therefore we offer a range of training options to accommodate a variety of circumstances and requirements.
Course types typically fall into 2 categories:
ATC Courses: standard content designed by Autodesk using Autodesk Courseware
Bespoke Courses: tailored versions of ATC Courses, adapted to specific client needs
First-Time Users - Where do you start?
If you are looking to train staff with no previous experience of a particular Autodesk software product, we recommend that you start by considering the ATC - Essentials' Course for that software. These are typically 3-day programmes.
Perhaps the nature of your work means that you only need to understand some of the software features. If so, then perhaps a shorter, more tailored, programme would suit better. In this case we suggest a Bespoke-Essentials' option.
Upgrading your Software - Want to Learn the New Features?
For staff who are upgrading to a new version of Autodesk software and want to focus purely on the new features, we recommend the appropriate ATC - Transitioning - or Bespoke Update Course for that software.
Want a Refresher, or a Topic - Based Module?
Perhaps you have taken training in the past but you want to explore a particular topic in greater depth. Take a look first at the list of ATC- Topic Based Courses for your CAD software, e.g. AutoCAD - Designing & Managing Dynamic Blocks. If you cannot find an ATC Course covering the topic you need, then a Bespoke-Workshop is the ideal solution.
Getting to Grips with a New Project - Going Live?
Sometimes making the transition from classroom to real world projects can be a bit daunting. If you have learnt the fundamentals but you need help with applying your knowledge to that important new project, then you can take advantage of our Bespoke - Project Mentoring option.
We will work alongside you, help you with initial set-up, and guide you on how best to apply your software to your project in hand to get the results that you desire and in the time that you need!
